Im gonna have to go with my favorite movie being a tie between Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Donnie Darko, which are two completely different types of movies but equally good in their own.
My favorite genre would proooobably have to be a Dark Comedy, or Psychological Drama/Horror

WORD. people just like it because they feel they it makes you sophisticated to read a movie. In reality, America makes the best movies, thats why every good actor comes here. Granted there are some excellent or original foreign movies, but most of the really good movie in our time are American, and guess what? They're in English. So, you might not feel as sophisticated watching a particular film in English, but you won't have to rewind everytime your illiterate ass couldn't read the subtitles fast enough.

I don't like Amelie because I feel special when I read the words. In fact, I wish it was in English, cause I'm fucking lazy. But that doesn't mean it's not a good movie. I like the characters and the story line and I think it was just well done. Oh yeah, and the bad ass fucking music too.
